My Story
Stuart has been chasing “the good light” since the Christmas morning his father handed him his first camera — and recruited him for pre-dawn photography missions. Long before sunrise, they would head out together, sharing the magic when the sun turned everything to gold.
Though his creative path led him to Industrial Design and running a New York City agency developing products and packaging, photography has always been his true creative outlet. Drawn to the study of animals and their behavior, he is passionate about capturing the precise expression that brings each subject to life.
Based in Larchmont, New York, Stuart has shared his early-morning wildlife pursuits with his two children — from African safaris to Zodiac rides through the Galápagos. For his family, the adventure always starts early!
He is delighted to share these prints and the moments behind them — each one a return to the wild and the thrill of seeing an image come alive.
